Reusable cups for festivals: custom printed, with return and washing
We have been manufacturing cups for festivals for over 25 years (since 1998). At high-capacity events, the cup is part of the attendee experience, bar operations and the festival's commitment to reuse. That is why we provide more than just cups: we offer a complete system comprising product, customisation, return and washing, ensuring every cup returns and is ready for the next day.

Festival cups designed for the bar and the crowd
Durability for high turnover
Our festival cups are made of stackable, rigid plastic, built to withstand knocks, bar rushes and repeated washing. Polypropylene is lightweight, impact-resistant and dishwasher-safe up to 80 °C, making it our top recommendation for large volumes.
Collectible cups that enhance your brand
A distinct design for each edition turns the cup into a souvenir attendees want to keep. You can feature the line-up, the festival logo or sponsors.
Convenience for attendees
We offer models with rings, clips, cords and lanyards so attendees can carry their cup comfortably and reuse it with every drink.
Cup models for festivals and concerts
We manufacture polypropylene cups from 2.5 to 90 cl. Here are the most common formats for festivals, with units per box for screen printing:

At a festival, the challenge is not just handing out cups: it is getting them back. That is why we treat return logistics as an integral part of the product.
BackCup machine
BackCup is our automated cup and deposit return machine. Attendees insert their cup, the machine validates it and generates a unique QR code to redeem the deposit. It accepts all our models except the EKO90FES, due to its rim diameter. Available to hire by the day or purchase.
Bar deposits, clips and collection points
If you prefer bar-managed deposits, deposit clips identify cups with an active deposit and simplify tracking. Bins and cup collection points help recover more cups and keep the venue tidy.
QR traceability
We can add a QR code per batch or a unique code on each cup to track stock and returns between festival days. This lets you know how many cups go out, how many return, and where any losses occur.
We collect used cups, wash them through a professional process, inspect every batch, and return them within 2 days of collection, ready for the next day or edition. An independent laboratory certifies compliance with cleanliness and food safety standards. The service covers the entire Iberian Peninsula with no minimum volume.
Screen printing: from 1 to 4 Pantone colours, for logos and text with precise colours.
Full-colour (IML): in-mould design fused during moulding, full colour and 360°. Ideal for large runs and intricate artwork.
Digital full-colour: full colour for short runs, limited editions or sample batches.
Minimum order: for screen printing, one box (see table); for digital full-colour, 20 cups on compatible models; for full-colour (IML), from 300 cups depending on the model (500 for the EKO33).
Lead times: once the digital proof is approved, one week for screen printing and digital full-colour, and 20 days for full-colour (IML). For large quantities, we recommend ordering one month in advance, allowing extra time for full-colour (IML).
It depends on capacity, duration, number of bars and return system. Tell us about your operations and we will recommend cup sizes, volumes and a return system. If you purchase a large volume of cups, you can request extra hire cups as a safety buffer, which we often supply free of charge. If you only need cups for a single edition, consider our reusable cup hire across Europe.
Festivals that have trusted Ekomon
Rototom Sunsplash, Resurrection Fest, Download Festival, Sonorama Ribera, Mallorca Live Festival, Low Festival, Warm Up, Spring Festival, Music Port Fest, O Son do Camiño and Fiestas del Pilar have trusted Ekomon. Our experience with large volumes dates back years: in 2004 we supplied a major order for the Universal Forum of Cultures in Barcelona.
Festivals and packaging regulations
Spanish Law 7/2022 on waste and the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) drive reuse at events. A reusable cup delivers genuine impact when integrated into a return, washing and tracking circuit — and that is exactly what we help you set up. More details in PPWR regulations.
